South Florida Real Estate

Fort Lauderdale and South Florida is paradise! With average temperatures ranging from 90F in summer and 78F in the winter, guys and gals in beach wear are seen throughout the year. Miles of beaches alongside a booming metropolis offers residents to live, work and play without leaving town.

Live in South Florida

Living in South Florida and Fort Lauderdale can be gruelling! You have to get up each morning and put on your sunglasses, drag yourself to your veranda overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway or the Atlantic Ocean and force yourself to eat the fresh fruit you picked in your back yard last night. As the hours loll by you have to decide are you going to go kayaking with your buddies, finally make that fifth visit to the local museum which you get to by water taxi, refine your golf game, take you boss up on the fishing trip, or just amble down to the beach to watch bikinis. What a life, but wait tomorrow we have to go to work.

Work in South Florida

When Monday morning arises, your schedule gets a little hectic. You grab a coffee and muffin from your local Starbucks as you take that grueling 12 minute walk to work.  After a productive morning of doing whatever it is that you do, you step out to that wonderful little deli next to your office and chat with locals who catch you up on the newest happenings. After work your significant other insists that you take in Jimmy Buffet concert which is a short water taxi ride away. After the great music you enjoy the tropical night air with a fine cocktail.

OK so not everybody lives this way in Fort Lauderdale and South Florida, but you can if you choose. In fact this city offers employment opportunities almost unequaled in the US. Tourism, Aerospace engineering, Medicine, Film production, and the Marine Sciences are just a few of the top notch industries that make their home in Fort Lauderdale. If you want to work, work is here, and if you want to play come on down.

Play in South Florida

But living in Fort Lauderdale can pose a problem. There is simply too much to do and making the decision each week can be a taxing. Do you scuba dive, fish, take in a play, walk the dogs in the local dog park, roller blade along side buxom blondes on the waterfront trail, go to a professional baseball, football, basketball, or hockey game, go gambling, or just lie on the beach. Too many choices and only 24 hours in a day! What does one do? Well you just have to settle with enjoying life, because that’s what we do in Fort Lauderdale and South Florida.
